A sample layout of a DGFT-issued IEC certificate, business details blurred here for privacy.
Your PAN and business details are blurred here, this is a sample. Your actual certificate is fully visible to you and to customs/your bank.
What matters before you pay: correct entity type, a valid DGFT filing, and a verifiable IEC number.
Ask a CA FirstA 10-digit code issued by the DGFT, linked to your PAN, that customs and banks require before clearing any import or export shipment or trade-related remittance.
Any import or export of physical goods needs a valid IEC on the shipping bill or bill of entry, no exceptions at customs.
Pure services exports aren't always legally required to hold an IEC, but banks routinely ask for one before releasing larger foreign remittances.
Not a back office. Every case is reviewed personally before it carries a signature.

20 years in practice. Files directly on the DGFT portal and sets up your April–June annual update reminder so your IEC never gets deactivated.
An IEC has lifetime validity, but it lapses if you miss the annual update. We track that for you.
Your IEC is generated on the DGFT's own system and linked to your PAN. It's not a third-party certificate, you can look it up on the official portal at any time.
Business PAN, cancelled cheque and address proof.
Application prepared and digitally signed on your behalf.
See your documents confirmed before you pay ₹999, plus the separate ₹500 govt fee.
Certificate shared, annual update reminder set for you.
₹999 is our service fee. The ₹500 DGFT government fee is separate and paid directly on the portal.
Fixed fee, no surprises.
Yes. This is our service fee for preparing and filing your application correctly on the DGFT portal. The ₹500 government fee is paid separately by you directly to DGFT, we don't mark that up.

"Selling on an international marketplace needed an IEC linked to our new company PAN. Done cleanly, no back and forth."
"Our old IEC got deactivated, we didn't know about the annual update. SVT reactivated it and now reminds us every year."

| Digital signature or e-sign not linked correctly | Set up and tested before submission |
| Address proof doesn't match business address | Cross-checked against your registration documents |
| Annual update missed, IEC deactivated | April–June reminder set the day your IEC is issued |
| Bank certificate not on firm letterhead | Format confirmed before we submit |
